How to get to Pushkar?

To book your flight to India at the best price, find our tips and advice to book your cheap flight on the Internet in our dedicated article. The flight time is about 8 am for a Paris-Delhi. The average price of a flight is about €500 round trip.

From Jaipur

You can reach Pushkar by train and then rickshaw from Jaipur but to change a little, we opted for the bus. The Jaipur-Pushkar route lasts 4 hours and costs 200 Rp per person (April 2014) for 142 km. This is the team from our hotel in Jaipur who recommended this bus. A rickshaw (80 Rp) takes us to the Jai Ambay traveling agency which is located near the Nirbana Palace hotel. After 30 minutes of waiting, we get on a bus that parked in front of the agency. We have our numbered seats and our bags are in the hold. It's cool especially that we didn't book anything and we didn't need to get to the bus station. The ride is going very well. The bus makes many stops to take or drop people and does not drive very fast but we still advance.

Bus Jaipur Pushkar to Rajasthan

We leave the city gradually and then we take a highway. It is then left for a national type road and finally, on the last kilometers it is a desert road that passes from community to community. When the bus puts us by the roadside, we meet on the edge of the village. We are approached by many walkers. They insist that we go into their supposedly brand new hotel blah blah blah. It is very difficult to get by of this situation. We reach the end of 50 meters in the village itself. We walk a few minutes in the dusty alleys and we end up finding a hotel. Pushkar Transport Rickshaw  Rajasthan

Well for this stage in Pushkar, it's really not complicated to circulate. Just walk. The village consists only of very pleasant lanes where in addition there is a large number of shops of all kinds. Traffic is in addition very limited to Pushkar, almost non-existent except on the main axis of the village, which normally ensures the calm. For possible excursions, you can always take a rickshaw or a taxi. The bike rental is also possible in the village.
